This is Our Story
Interior Fusion began with a vision: to create spaces that do more than just look good. They should feel right. Founded in 2008 by retired U.S. Army Master Sergeant Rich Fendley, the company was built on a foundation of service, structure, and integrity. What started as a small, government-focused office furniture dealership has grown into a full-service commercial interiors partner with showrooms across Florida and clients throughout the Southeast.
From day one, Interior Fusion was designed to be different. Rich saw a gap in the market — a need for an office furniture company that didn’t just sell products, but delivered complete solutions with precision, speed, and a bit of fun along the way. He believed in fusing retail and design into one seamless, enjoyable process. That idea became the company’s name. And that mission still drives everything they do.
Business continued to grow, and in 2019, Rich made the decision to expand Interior Fusion’s footprint from the Tampa Bay area into North Florida. At the end of that year, he was introduced to another military veteran and seasoned commercial office furniture professional, Steve Jacobs, through mutual friend and manufacturer’s representative Steve Lyons. The timing was perfect. With shared values and a common vision, Steve and Rich launched the Jacksonville showroom together, and Steve now leads that location as Owner, serving clients across the region with the same level of service, detail, and trust the brand was built on.
In 2024, Diane Fendley stepped into the role of CEO, bringing her own energy, empathy, and vision to the company’s next chapter. A woman-led commercial division, a majority-women workforce, and an expanding statewide presence are all testaments to her leadership and belief in building something that lasts. After experiencing profound personal loss, Diane made a personal commitment to lead with compassion and purpose. She is focused on creating a business and a culture rooted in gratitude, legacy, and honoring people — her team, her family, and every client they serve.
Today, Interior Fusion delivers full-service planning, design, and installation solutions for commercial spaces of all kinds, from healthcare and education to hospitality and corporate offices. Every project is managed in-house, giving clients direct access to a team that listens closely, moves quickly, and solves problems before they start. And at the heart of it all is a company that values the little things: thoughtful layout, honest pricing, intentional design, and beautiful spaces that inspire people to do their best work.
